Job summary

Parsons Corporation is seeking an experienced Dry Utilities Inspector to verify electrical and telecommunications infrastructure during construction, testing, and commissioning in Abu Dhabi Emirate, UAE. The role requires inspecting trenching, backfilling, materials, and workmanship against drawings and standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in dry utility systems inspection and a strong understanding of ASTM/BS/ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in utility systems inspection.
• Strong practical knowledge of electrical and dry utility infrastructure.
• Experience inspecting telecommunications utility works is advantageous.
• Familiar with underground utility construction techniques.
• Read and interpret utility drawings and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect installation of dry utility systems across assigned infrastructure fronts.
• Verify electrical and telecommunications infrastructure against drawings and specs.
• Check routes, alignments, elevations, gradients, and clearances before acceptance.
• Review ducts, conduits, chambers, manholes, and cable routes locations.
• Coordinate with project engineers to resolve field condition differences.
• Ensure compliance with design information and project requirements.
• Maintain inspection records and prepare daily reports.
