Job summary

KBR, Inc. in Abu Dhabi seeks a Commissioning Superintendent Electrical for onshore mega EPC projects. The role demands 18+ years in commissioning/operation readiness, and at least 5 years in similar Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, with preference for sour gas, hydrogen, and hydrodesulfurization experience.

Coordinate with licensors and vendors, monitor commissioning progress, and ensure readiness for MC and RFSU certificates in line with contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is a must.
• Minimum 18 years in commissioning/operation readiness, GCC region preferred.
• At least 5 years in a similar Oil & Gas or Petrochemical commissioning role; sour gas, hydrogen, hydrodesulfurization preferred.
• Coordinate with Licensors and Vendors on procedures.
• Responsible for progress of commissioning for sales gas and condensate areas.
• Review pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
• Provide the required advice and support for Sr. Commissioning Manager.
• Review commissioning manuals issued by EPC Contractor or Vendors.
• Verify MC certificates requirements for systems/subsystems.
• Participate in commissioning meetings and related meetings.
• Verify readiness of systems/subsystems for MC and RFSU certificates issuance.
• Monitor and approve punch list close-out.
• Ensure completion/hand over methodology complies with contracts.

Responsibilities
