Job summary

Progressive is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Lead for an oil & gas project in the UAE, based in Abu Dhabi with Ruwais rotation. This is a long-term deployment with full site support.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading electrical commissioning on industrial or EPC projects, strong start-up and handover capabilities, and readiness to mobilise immediately. The role involves 8 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation, with on-site accommodation, transport, meals, and UAE visa

Qualifications

• Experience leading electrical commissioning activities on major industrial, energy, EPC, oil & gas, or petrochemical projects.
• Strong commissioning, start-up, testing, and handover experience.
• Previous ADNOC project exposure is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical commissioning activities on the project.
• Coordinate start-up, testing and handover processes.
• Mobilise immediately or on short notice and oversee the 12-month deployment.

Contract Duration

• 12-month deployment

Salary Package

AED 28,000 per month (Non-Negotiable)

Breakdown:

• Basic


• Salary: AED 14,000


• Housing Allowance: AED 11,200


• Transport Allowance: AED 2,800

Salary is paid monthly and covers both on and off rotation periods.

Rotation Schedule

Ruwais Site Assignment

• 8 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks OFF


• 10 working hours per day


• Any required overtime is included within the package


• R&R flight tickets are not provided during rotation breaks
