Job summary

Al Sahraa Group is seeking an Electrical Assistant Technician in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role focuses on electrical maintenance, solar power systems, UPS, and safe isolation procedures to support oil & gas facilities.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of relevant experience, strong fault-finding skills, and proficient English communication. The position offers a competitive total package and on-site work in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant electrical maintenance experience, preferably in Oil & Gas facilities.
• Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting solar power systems, including solar panels, batteries, charge controllers, breakers, and junction boxes.
• Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting UPS systems, including batteries, chargers, rectifiers, inverters, and distribution panels.
• Knowledge of 415V electrical systems, safe isolation, and verification of de-energization.
• Ability to use multimeters and clamp meters to measure voltage, current, resistance, continuity, and battery parameters.
• Experience in maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of MOVs and associated electrical components.
• Experience in cable laying, pulling, glanding, and termination.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and basic Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).
• Familiarity with electrical safety procedures, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and safe isolation practices.
• Good troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Good spoken and written English communication skills.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant electrical maintenance experience, preferably in Oil & Gas facilities.
