Job summary

The University of Manchester - Dubai invites applications for an academic to teach and supervise MA Education Leadership in Practice (ELiP). You will deliver research-informed teaching, undertake scholarly activity, and support engagement with students and partners across the MENA region.

We seek Assistant/Associate/Professor levels with expertise in educational leadership and management, ideally with UAE experience and a track record in international accreditation and transnational education.

Qualifications

• Final degree and PhD in a relevant discipline.
• Credible teaching and project supervision experience.
• Experience teaching postgraduate students in the United Arab Emirates.
• Broad knowledge to develop and deliver programmes and learning support.
• Proven scholarly activity and publications in relevant journals.
• Experience in knowledge transfer and external engagement and networks.
• Ability to travel internationally for programme delivery and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and supervise MA ELiP students and related projects.
• Review and update course content and materials in consultation with programme directors.
• Develop and apply innovative teaching techniques that engage students and enhance learning.
• Contribute to curriculum design, assessment, and documentation with adherence to standards.
• Undertake scholarly activity of international standing and publish in journals.
• Lead external engagement and knowledge transfer with educational bodies and partners.
