Job summary

Unknown Dubai University in the UAE seeks an accomplished Assistant Professor of Management to deliver high-quality education across management and marketing modules with a focus on data-driven operations.

The candidate will mentor student research, publish in high-impact journals, and integrate process simulation and advanced Excel into coursework, aligning with CAA-like standards and UAE MoE guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must possess a PhD in Business Management or a closely related field.
• Must possess a valid UAE Recognition Certificate / Degree Equivalency issued by the UAE Ministry of Education (MoE).
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of full-time teaching experience specifically within UAE universities or HEIs.
• Must currently be located in the UAE with a valid residency visa or the ability to transition smoothly.
• Hands-on practical experience utilizing process simulation software such as FlexSim, AnyLogic, Simul8, SimPy, or equivalent platforms.
• Must possess strong, advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data modeling, solver, and pivot tables.
• Native or near-native fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate management courses across a broad spectrum of modules.
• Incorporate hands-on process simulation software and advanced spreadsheet modeling into curricula.
• Mentor undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations and capstone projects.
• Maintain an active research agenda with publications and conference participation.

Teaching and Learning

Deliver engaging student-centered undergraduate and postgraduate lectures across a broad spectrum of management courses including Project Management amp Operations Management Business Analytics Business Strategy Management Analytics and Data Visualisation Entrepreneurship amp Sustainable Business International Business amp Management in a Global Context Human Resource Management HRM Organizational Psychology and Leadership Introduction to Marketing Design update and evaluate curriculum materials syllabi assessments and lesson plans in alignment with CAA standards Integrate hands-on process simulation software and advanced spreadsheet modeling into the Operations Management and Business Analytics curricula to bridge theoretical frameworks with real-world practical applications

Student Research amp Dissertation Support

Serve as a primary advisor and mentor to undergraduate and postgraduate students during their Dissertation and capstone projects Guide students through the research process including thesis formulation quantitative qualitative data analysis and academic writing Support and supervise data-driven or simulation-based dissertations ensuring students can effectively leverage analytics and modeling software in their research

Research and Scholarship

Maintain an active research agenda by publishing articles in peer-reviewed high-impact journals indexed in Scopus or ABDC Actively seek internal and external research grants and participate in local and international academic conferences

Service and Institutional Compliance

Engage in university committees accreditation activities curriculum development workshops and student recruitment events Ensure all teaching practices comply with institutional policies and Ministry of Education frameworks
