Job summary

Qualcomm Engineering FZ LLC in Abu Dhabi seeks a seasoned Solutions Architect to drive AI-powered solutions across edge, IoT, and cloud platforms in the Middle East. You will design, present, and deploy end-to-end intelligent systems spanning edge devices, data pipelines, and backend services for smart city and industrial applications.

The role demands strong technical leadership, collaboration with customers and partners, and the ability to balance latency, power, memory, and scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of software engineering or related experience.
• Master's degree with 3+ years, or PhD with 2+ years, in relevant fields.
• 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into scalable architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end AI and digital transformation solutions from edge devices to cloud platforms.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable technical architectures and deployment strategies.
• Drive architecture decisions across hardware, software, connectivity, AI models, cloud services, and system integration.
• Lead technical workshops, architecture reviews, and executive-level discussions.
