The Opportunity:
We are seeking to appoint passionate and creative Early Years Arabic Teacher s to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Arabic language instruction to young learners in a nurturing, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate environment. This role supports children's early literacy and language acquisition through play-based and inquiry-led learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Arabic instruction using Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), integrated with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or equivalent curriculum.
- Foster a love for the Arabic language through songs, storytelling, games, and hands-on activities.
- Support children’s holistic development – cognitive, emotional, physical, and social – through age-appropriate strategies.
- Work effectively with children during focus group activities, adapting the approach to meet the individual needs and developmental stages of each child.
- Collaborate with English-speaking teachers to ensure a bilingual, immersive classroom experience.
- Plan, assess, and document children’s learning using clear learning outcomes and child observations.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and wellbeing.
- Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that reflects children’s learning.
- Participate actively in early years school life including events, performances, and extracurricular activities.
- Engage in continuous professional development and reflective teaching practice.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in education or early childhood education, or Arabic Language, or a related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Good spoken and written English communication skills.
- Demonstrated record of strong attendance, punctuality, and professional commitment in previous academic or work settings.
- Minimum of 1 year experience or completion of a relevant teaching internship / training in an early years environment.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 (or equivalent) in relevant undergraduate studies.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate pedagogies.
- Creative, energetic, and caring disposition with a genuine passion for teaching young children.
- Ability to work productively as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to inclusive and culturally responsive teaching practices.
