Job summary

Rosewood Hotels and Resorts in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead the engineering team and oversee the daily maintenance of hotel facilities and equipment. You will coordinate preventive maintenance programs and respond to operational and emergency situations to ensure service excellence.

The role emphasizes coaching, safety, and technical expertise to maintain Rosewood standards and guest comfort at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel facilities management or large-scale properties.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise engineering associates to ensure maintenance activities are safe, efficient, and up to Rosewood standards.
• Monitor and manage preventive maintenance programs for guestrooms, public areas, kitchens, and recreational facilities.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, maintenance issues, and emergencies to minimize disruption.
• Coordinate work orders, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of departmental projects.
• Conduct inspections, inventory controls, and technical audits to maintain readiness and compliance.

YOUR ROLE

As an Engineering Supervisor you will be responsible for supporting the daily operation of the Engineering department while leading and developing a team of engineering associates You will oversee preventive maintenance programs coordinate work assignments respond to operational and emergency situations and ensure the efficient maintenance of hotel facilities and equipment You will lead by example promoting safety service excellence and technical expertise while ensuring all engineering tasks are completed in line with Rosewood standards
