Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Dubai seeks an experienced E&M Inspector to oversee electrical and mechanical works at metro stations, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, ITPs, codes and Employer’s Requirements.

You will perform daily site surveillance, witness tests, support FAT/SAT/IST, coordinate interfaces with civil works, and maintain QA records, NCRs, and punch lists under PMC supervision. This role reports to the Station Mechanical/Electrical Site Engineers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of E&M site inspection experience for metro projects.
• Experience with QA/QC checklists and design-build workflows.
• Multidisciplinary E&M inspection and documentation skills.
• Experience on metro/rail projects is essential.

Responsibilities

• Daily Site Surveillance & Checks: inspect HVAC/ECS, fire protection, water, lifts, MV/LV, lighting, UPS, earthing, BMS/SCADA cabling.
• Testing & Commissioning Support: witness tests, assist with FAT/SAT/IST, compile evidence.
• Interface & Coordination: coordinate with civil works for access, report interface issues.
• Safety & Compliance: monitor HSSE on site and NFPA life safety features.
• Reporting & Documentation: prepare DPRs, logs, punch lists, track closure.

## E&M InspectorApply: AE.Dubai Metro Site Office: AE.Abu Dhabi.Site Office: AE.Dubai.EmaarSq: Full time: Posted Today: R-166426### **Job Description**## Overview## Act as PMC field inspector covering both electrical and mechanical for metro station services (common inspectors for E&M), supporting Site Engineers to ensure D&B contractor’s works meet approved drawings, ITPs, codes, and Employer’s Requirements—across overground and underground stations.## Your role## **Daily Site Surveillance & Checks*** Conduct routine inspections on works performed by the contractor for HVAC/ECS/TVS, fire protection (hydrant, sprinkler, detection), water supply & drainage, lifts & escalators, MV/LV distribution, lighting & UPS, earthing/lightning protection, and BMS/SCADA cabling and terminations.
