Job Overview
The E-Commerce Assistant is responsible for maintaining and updating the companys online platforms ensuring product accuracy optimizing listings and supporting the e-commerce team in driving online sales. The role requires proficiency in modern e-commerce tools and platforms such as Amazon Noon Talabat and other digital marketplaces.
Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce Management
- Regularly update product listings on the companys e-commerce platforms.
- Ensure all product details descriptions and images are accurate and up to date.
- Monitor and process online orders efficiently.
Platform Optimization & Reporting
- Use web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) to track performance and generate insights.
- Assist in optimizing product visibility and sales performance across platforms.
- Ensure timely execution of marketing and seasonal promotions.
Stock & Order Coordination
- Work closely with the supply chain and retail sales teams to manage stock levels.
- Minimize potential stock losses by monitoring product availability and reporting issues.
Customer Support & Payment Handling
- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of online payments and refunds.
- Support the e-commerce team in resolving customer inquiries and escalations.
Creative & Marketing Support
- Assist in maintaining the websites visuals including homepage banners and product displays.
- Coordinate with the team to launch new products and promotional campaigns.
General Support
- Provide reports and insights to the E-Commerce Executive and management.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the management.
Requirements
Education
Bachelors degree in IT Digital Marketing or a related field.
Experience
0-2 years in e-commerce digital marketing or online sales.
Technical Skills
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (Amazon Noon Talabat preferred).
- Proficiency in Google Analytics Microsoft Office and digital sales tools.
- Familiarity with content management systems and online order processing.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with good analytical abilities.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
