POSITION SUMMARY
The E-Commerce Merchandiser at Nespresso UAE will be responsible for managing and optimizing our digital boutiques (website and app) to deliver strong sales growth and best-in‑class customer experiences. This includes executing product launches, campaigns and promotions; overseeing stock management; managing BAU tickets with the development agency; and ensuring effective onsite SEO and merchandising.
The role also supports the B2B website project and collaborates closely with cross‑functional teams (Marketing, CRM, Supply Chain, Trade Finance and CRC) to ensure smooth operations and timely campaign delivery. Additionally, the E-Commerce Merchandiser will design engaging customer journeys, leverage CRM insights and analytics for A/B testing, and continuously improve acquisition conversion and satisfaction across all online touchpoints.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
Own the Day-to-Day Running of Digital Boutiques
- Manage and execute optimal inventory supply for B2C and B2B products based on week cover targets.
- Handle BAU tickets for onsite issues coordinating with the development agency to ensure timely resolution.
- Execute promotion, product launches and campaign refreshes in close collaboration with the Marketing team.
- Oversee PLP merchandising including uploading banners, creating product pages and building category/brand pages for B2B and B2C.
- Manage recommendation engines and onsite search optimisation.
- Define and run A/B test hypotheses to improve acquisition sales and customer satisfaction.
- Liaise with merchandising operations and customer service to improve efficiencies and elevate the customer journey.
- Coordinate SEO activities with the agency.
- Develop the Professional/OOH boutique online experience ensuring a best-in‑class journey for B2B clients.
- Track and support e‑commerce KPIs such as sales, new member acquisition, average basket size and conversion rates.
- Analyse category performance to evaluate merchandising effectiveness, sell‑through and product opportunities.
Develop Digital Channel Performance
- Monitor stock sell‑through and channel performance versus targets.
- Work with development agency on BAU issues.
- Ensure all new products and campaigns are launched on time and aligned with global standards.
Ensure Compliance
- Pre‑align, validate and plan all activities with local and HQ stakeholders.
- Ensure all content, T&Cs and activities comply with local laws and Nestlé Nespresso guidelines.
- Log, monitor and escalated technical issues according to company standards.
Contribute to eBusiness Excellence
- Actively participate in UAE market sales operations meetings offering insights and recommendations.
- Share best practices and monitor competitive solutions to enhance the digital experience.
- Keep track of local e‑commerce standards and innovations to ensure Nespresso remains ahead of the market.
What will make you successful
- Education: Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, E-Commerce or related disciplines).
- Professional Experience & Skills: Minimum of 3 years experience in e‑commerce merchandising or a similar role.
- Must have hands‑on expertise with e‑commerce platforms specifically Magento.
- Strong knowledge of analytical tools for performance measurement with the ability to identify improvements and drive innovation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
- Solid understanding of e‑commerce UX content management and development projects with intuitive knowledge of how users interact and shop online.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable commercial objectives.
- Fluency in English is a must.
- Must be a UAE National with family book.
