Aldar Education is seeking outstanding Cover Teachers to join our schools across Abu Dhabi for Academic Year 2026/2027. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Aldar family and support learning during staff absence, including maternity leave and other short-term cover.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong classroom management, a commitment to student progress, and the ability to adapt to different school environments while upholding high standards of teaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or equivalent.
• ADEK teaching qualification required or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years teaching experience.
• Experience with UK National Curriculum preferred.
• Experience in international schools desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality classroom cover for absent teachers.
• Deliver engaging lessons in line with curriculum standards.
• Ensure continuity of learning by following schemes of work and plans.
• Create an inclusive learning environment promoting achievement.
• Adapt lessons to meet diverse learner needs and abilities.
• Maintain safeguarding and health & safety policies.
