Job description
Duty Engineer
  • Monitor and maintain mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical faults or equipment failures promptly.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to reduce the risk of breakdowns.
  • Respond quickly to emergencies such as alarms or safety hazards following protocols.
  • Keep detailed records of equipment status, maintenance work and incidents.
  • Coordinate with other departments to address operational and technical needs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies and industry standards.
  • Support installation, commissioning and testing of new equipment or systems as required.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or relevant field).
  • Relevant technical certifications (e.g. HVAC, electrical safety, mechanical maintenance).
  • Proven experience in maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of engineering systems.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Good problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle emergencies calmly.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Computer literacy for logging reports and using maintenance management systems.
