Job summary

Accor in Dubai is seeking a Duty Engineer to monitor and maintain mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and rapid response to faults. You will keep records, coordinate with departments, and support installation and testing of new equipment.

The role requires a diploma or degree in engineering (mechanical/electrical), relevant certifications, and proven maintenance and safety knowledge.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant field).
• Relevant technical certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical safety, mechanical maintenance).
• Proven experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of engineering systems.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle emergencies calmly.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Computer literacy for logging reports and using maintenance management systems.
