Job summary

AECOM is seeking a civil engineer in the UAE to provide design review and construction-related coordination on major infrastructure projects. The role focuses on overseeing earthworks, structures and drainage submissions, and ensuring work aligns with project standards.

Ideal candidates hold a university degree in civil engineering with 5+ years of experience and UAE/Middle East exposure; rail experience is a plus. On-site work in Dubai/Abu Dhabi is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering.
• Design review or site experience preferred.
• Middle East / UAE experience highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review civil design submissions (earthworks, structures, drainage, etc.).
• Support construction supervision and respond to technical queries.
• Prepare technical comments and reports.
• Coordinate civil interfaces with disciplines and contractors.
• Monitor compliance with project specifications and standards.
