Key Responsibilities

• Review inspectors' daily reports and provide oversight on site supervision activities
• Prepare the Engineer's Daily Diary and required project documentation
• Guide inspectors on work assignments, site performance, and supervision of contractor operations
• Review contractor inspection, surveying, and testing requests along with completed reports
• Review and approve contractor shop drawings as delegated by the Resident Engineer
• Monitor the performance and accuracy of survey teams on site
• Review and approve contractor proposed materials and construction methods as delegated
• Prepare meeting minutes and coordination records when assigned
• Coordinate with contractor supervisory staff regarding work sequencing, schedules, and methodologies
• Monitor contractor progress against the approved construction schedule
• Conduct continuous field inspections and coordinate with the Resident Engineer and contractor teams
• Prepare written and verbal reports to the Resident Engineer on contractual, procedural, and site matters
• Review as-built drawings in coordination with inspectors and surveyors
