Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Graduate Intern Python Developer in Dubai to support the development of cloud-based applications and backend services. This role focuses on building RESTful APIs, integrating databases, and supporting deployment of Python services on Microsoft Azure.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge of Python programming.
• Experience with at least one Python web framework such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Basic understanding of NoSQL databases including MongoDB.
• Knowledge of Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure services, is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python frameworks.
• Write clean, maintainable code following enterprise standards.
• Support deployment of Python applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Assist with environment configuration and secure access.
• Develop integrations with relational databases and NoSQL databases.
• Participate in Git-based version control workflows.
• Support CI and CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Write and maintain unit tests using testing frameworks.
• Validate APIs using Postman and documentation tools.
• Collaborate in Agile development environments.
