Avanta Works in Dubai is seeking an Optometrist to join our team. You will perform eye examinations, diagnose eye conditions and prescribe corrective lenses while delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities include keeping thorough patient records, staying current with optometry technology, and providing guidance on vision-care best practices. 0-2 years’ experience preferred; license required or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• Optometrist license from a recognized institution or equivalent certification.
• Ability to work with precision under pressure while maintaining accuracy in results.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in using the latest optometric equipment.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive eye exams including refraction, visual fields, fundus photography when necessary.
• Diagnose and recommend appropriate corrective lenses based on patient’s needs.
• Monitor the progress of patients with chronic or progressive vision problems.
• Provide advice and guidance on vision care such as nutrition and safety.
• Maintain patient records in accordance with legal requirements.
• Ensure safe storage of contact lenses and other optical products.
• Keep up to date with developments in optometry technology and techniques.
