Job summary

Segula Technologies is seeking a Rolling Stock Technician (Interior Fitting) for a 6-month contract in Dubai. You will install, inspect and maintain interior components on metro rail vehicles, ensuring quality and safety compliance.

Qualifications

Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical Fitting or a related discipline.
2 years of experience in interior fitting, preferably in rail, aviation, or automotive sectors.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
Skilled in hand tools, measuring instruments, and power equipment.
Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Install and fit interior components such as wall panels, ceilings, lighting, flooring, partitions, windows, seating systems.
Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
Assist in assembly of new metro rail vehicles or refurbishments of interiors.
Use hand tools, power tools and equipment to cut, shape and assemble fittings.
Coordinate installation work with electrical and mechanical teams.
Carry out fault diagnosis and corrective actions for interior systems.
Ensure interior components meet safety, functionality and aesthetic standards.
Document work, report defects and ensure traceability of materials.
Follow health, safety and environmental regulations.
