Job summary

NextPartners in Dubai is seeking an experienced Mason to join our construction team. You will read blueprints, prepare surfaces, mix mortar, and lay bricks according to plans to build durable structures.

The ideal candidate has proven masonry experience, strong knowledge of materials and techniques, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Visa sponsorship is provided for qualified international applicants.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mason in construction industry.
• Excellent knowledge of masonry materials and techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately.
• Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time.
• Good math skills for measuring and calculating materials needed.
• Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine layout and design of structures.
• Prepare masonry surfaces by cleaning, cutting, shaping and laying out materials.
• Mix mortar or grout using specified proportions or by hand.
• Lay bricks or other masonry units according to plans and specifications.
• Cut or trim bricks using hammers, chisels or power tools.
• Install fireplaces and chimneys.
• Repair cracks and other damages in existing masonry structures.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
