Job summary

ConFlip is seeking a Library Assistant in Dubai to support librarians and maintain the library's collection and services. The role focuses on organizing materials, assisting patrons, and processing acquisitions.

Responsibilities

Organize and maintain library materials including books, journals, and AV resources.
Assist patrons with finding and checking out materials.
Process new acquisitions and prepare them for circulation.
Maintain accurate records of transactions using a computerized system.
Assist with creating displays and promoting library events and programs.
Help with cataloging and classifying materials according to standards.
Conduct basic reference interviews to determine patrons' information needs.
Provide basic technology assistance to library users.
Collaborate with staff to plan and implement programs for all ages.
