Job summary

Lockton is seeking a Financial Controller for their MENA operations in Dubai. This full-time role focuses on overseeing financial control activities for the reinsurance entity and ensuring regulatory compliance across various jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, relevant professional qualifications, and at least 6 years of experience in financial control. Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple jurisdictions are essential. A hybrid work arrangement is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in financial control or broking finance.
• Proven experience with DFSA regulations and Client Money handling.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial control activities for the reinsurance broking entity.
• Lead the month-end close and financial reporting process.
• Prepare and submit all DFSA returns within deadlines.
