Job summary

Lorum is recruiting a senior Head of Compliance & MLRO for its Dubai-based regulated entity. Based in Dubai, you will lead the compliance and financial crime framework, work with the Group Chief Legal, Risk and Compliance Officer, and ensure alignment with the broader Lorum governance framework.

The role requires senior regulatory judgement, practical execution, and the credibility to operate across local and group structures, delivering robust controls and governance across the entity.

Qualifications

• Senior compliance in regulated financial services
• AML leadership experience
• Regulatory engagement with authorities
• Governance and control experience
• Group governance alignment

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Dubai entity's compliance and AML framework
• Act as senior compliance lead and MLRO subject to regulatory approvals
• Embed local compliance within the group standards and policies
• Advise local management and regulators on obligations and risks
• Maintain and enhance monitoring plans and reporting
• Coordinate with legal, risk, operations and audit teams
• Develop strong compliance culture through training and engagement
• Prepare high quality governance reporting for group committees
