Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years post specialist / board certification.
- Eligibility for DHA / DOH license conversion (guidance provided).
- Recognition of specialist qualifications including ABMS/RCPSC/FCPS or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient general surgery care.
- Perform elective and emergency surgical procedures (laparoscopic and open).
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of surgical conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives.
- Contribute to development and expansion of surgical services.
- Maintain compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and hospital protocols.
