Job summary

A construction firm in Dubai is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with a valid G-category license to join their team. The role involves overseeing design, execution, and supervision of projects in compliance with local regulations. Candidates must have at least 5 years of UAE construction experience and strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering software. Excellent communication in English is essential, and Arabic knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid G-category license issued by Dubai Municipality.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE/Gulf construction experience; senior roles require 8+ years.
• Excellent English (written & spoken); Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit design drawings, BOQs, and method statements.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, and contractors.
• Oversee day to day construction activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections and maintain logs.
• Liaise with Dubai Municipality and obtain permits.
• Ensure all submissions are signed and stamped by the G-licensed engineer.
• Prepare and present project status updates.
• Implement UAE safety regulations.
• Mentor junior engineers on G-license requirements.
