Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse, logistics, freight, or transportation environment.
• Valid forklift operating certification or UAE-regulations.
• Practical knowledge of forklift operation and warehouse material handling.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift, move, and position different types of loads safely.
• Physically fit for a busy warehouse environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and operational procedures.
• Basic communication and reading skills.
• Good awareness of surroundings and workplace hazards.
• Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods from trucks, containers, and loading areas.
• Move cartons, pallets, equipment, and other materials within the warehouse.
• Transport materials between receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch areas.
• Stack and arrange goods safely in designated warehouse locations.
• Ensure materials are positioned securely to prevent damage or accidents.
• Follow warehouse procedures for handling, storing, and moving goods.
• Inspect the forklift before each shift and report mechanical or safety issues.
• Maintain awareness of load capacity and safe operating limits.
• Handle fragile, heavy, and valuable goods with appropriate care.
• Assist warehouse staff with loading, picking, packing, and dispatch activities when required.
• Verify labels and ensure the correct goods are moved to the required locations.
• Support inventory activities by moving and positioning stock for counting.
• Keep loading bays, warehouse aisles, and work areas clear and safe.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures and use required PPE.
• Report damaged goods, spills, equipment problems, and workplace hazards immediately.
• Coordinate with warehouse supervisors, storekeepers, drivers, and logistics staff.
• Maintain basic records of equipment checks and material movements when required.
• Use the forklift responsibly to minimize damage to products, racks, vehicles, and facilities.
• Assist with other warehouse and logistics duties assigned by the supervisor.
