Job summary

CA Global Headhunters seeks a Deputy Manager – Purchase to lead end-to-end procurement, focusing on bearings and industrial products. You will source globally, negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective purchasing and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include PO management, tracking shipments, coordinating with logistics and ensuring compliance with INCOTERMS and shipping regulations. Candidates should have strong analytical and cost-optimisation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field required.
• 5+ years procurement/purchasing experience.
• Experience sourcing bearings or related industrial products is advantageous.
• Experience with international suppliers and China-based sourcing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and onboard reliable local and international suppliers.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations, pricing terms and delivery conditions.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, payment terms and commercial agreements.
• Maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Prepare and place purchase orders with approved suppliers.
• Track orders, production progress, shipments and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with logistics for shipping, customs clearance and deliveries.
• Resolve supplier issues related to delays, shortages and quality discrepancies.
• Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to secure favourable terms.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Identify and implement procurement cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain procurement records including POs, invoices and contracts.
• Verify supplier certifications and quality reports.
