APEX ORCABOND SHIPPING LLC in Dubai is seeking an experienced Customs Clearance Clerk to coordinate import/export customs clearance. You will prepare and verify documentation, liaise with Dubai Customs, shipping lines, and freight forwarders, and ensure timely clearance of shipments.

The role requires 1+ year in customs clearance or logistics, strong knowledge of UAE procedures and Dubai Trade, and excellent communication to keep customers and teams updated.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in customs clearance or logistics.
• Knowledge of UAE customs clearance procedures.
• Familiarity with Dubai Trade and Dubai Customs systems.
• Experience with import/export documentation.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle multiple shipments under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit customs declarations and clearance documentation.
• Verify invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, COOs, and other documents.
• Coordinate with Dubai Customs, Dubai Trade, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and transporters.
• Follow up on inspections, document approvals, duties, and release.
• Ensure accurate classification and full supporting documentation.
• Monitor shipment status and provide updates to customers and internal teams.
• Assist with duty and customs fee calculations and timely payments.
• Maintain and file customs-related records and shipment files.
