Job summary

SearchPlus HR Consultancy seeks qualified Counsellors and Therapists to join a reputable wellness centre in Dubai, UAE. The role spans individual, couples, family, or group counselling with a focus on emotional well‑being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Counselling or related field.
• Relevant counselling or therapeutic experience.
• Knowledge of recognised counselling approaches and ethics.
• Strong communication, listening, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain boundaries and client confidentiality.
• Valid CDA licence or eligibility to obtain CDA professional licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client consultations and assessments to understand emotional, psychological, and behavioural concerns.
• Provide individual, couples, family, or group counselling, depending on qualifications and professional scope.
• Support clients dealing with stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, and emotional difficulties.
• Develop personalised counselling and therapeutic plans based on individual client needs.
• Apply appropriate counselling approaches and therapeutic techniques within the scope of professional training.
• Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as required.
• Maintain confidential client records and comply with professional ethics and safeguarding standards.
• Refer clients to psychologists, psychiatrists, or other specialists when additional assessment or treatment is required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support clients overall well‑being.
• Participate in case reviews, professional supervision, and continuing professional development.
