Job summary

JobCenter in Dubai is seeking an experienced Cashier to join our team. You will manage day-to-day transactions with accuracy and provide excellent customer service.

The successful candidate should be able to work independently with minimal direction and handle cash handling and POS operations efficiently. Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Cashier or similar role; experience in retail sales is a plus
• Solid understanding of customer service practices and principles
• Working knowledge of cash registers, POS systems, credit card machines, etc.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Ensure accuracy of all transactions
• Process returns, refunds and exchanges according to company policy
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accurate funds
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of registers area
• Keep accurate records of transactions
• Respond to customer inquiries or complaints in a courteous manner
