Job summary

Avanta Works in Dubai is seeking an experienced Cashier to join our team. You will process transactions accurately, handle cash and card payments, and provide friendly, efficient service to every customer.

You will balance the cash drawer, keep the checkout area tidy, assist customers with product information, and follow all policies and safety regulations. A high school diploma and prior POS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of cash register operations and accepted payments.
• Familiarity with inventory control systems and POS.
• Good customer service attitude.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Accurately count money, issue change, and balance cash drawer.
• Ensure efficient customer service by attending to customer inquiries.
