Job summary

ChampionX is seeking a Regulatory Specialist to support Middle East regulatory activities from Dubai. You will work closely with commercial, product stewardship, and technical teams to ensure compliance with regional chemical regulations while enabling business growth in the Middle East.

You will monitor regional regulations, prepare registrations and regulatory documents, and support hazard communication per GHS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline.
• 5+ years in Regulatory Affairs, Product Stewardship, Chemical Compliance, or Hazard Communication in chemicals.
• Knowledge of global chemical regulations and hazard communication requirements.
• Experience supporting product registrations, regulatory documentation, or compliance reviews.
• Strong project management and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into business guidance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory support for products and operations across the Middle East and Europe.
• Monitor and interpret regional chemical regulations and communicate requirements to stakeholders.
• Support registrations, notifications, exemptions, and regulatory submissions as required.
• Prepare regulatory docs, SDSs, product classifications, labels, and compliance declarations.
• Respond to customer requests on regulatory status and inventories.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Technical Services, R&D, and Commercial teams to support business goals.
• Evaluate regulatory impact of product and formulation changes.
• Support hazard communication per GHS and local requirements.
• Maintain regulatory data in SAP and other systems.
• Participate in regulatory projects and data quality improvements.
• Stay updated on emerging regulatory developments.
