Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
• Valid DHA licence or Eligibility Letter as a Sonographer.
• 2–3 years post-qualification sonography experience.
• Experience in hospital/diagnostic imaging settings.
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound equipment and protocols.
• Excellent communication and patient-focused care.
• Ability to work independently and with radiologists.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations per clinical protocols.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for review and interpretation.
• Review patient history and clinical information before examinations.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures prior to imaging.
• Identify abnormalities and ensure accurate images and measurements.
• Work closely with Radiologists and referring Physicians.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
• Ensure ultrasound equipment is used safely and maintained.
• Follow DHA, facility and international healthcare standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Deliver a professional, compassionate and patient-focused service.
