Job summary

A leading international consultancy in Dubai is seeking a Company Accountant to manage all areas of financial accounting. The role includes overseeing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Candidates must possess a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CPA) and substantial operational finance experience. The position offers a salary range of AED 12,000 to 15,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable background in a professional services organisation.
• Ability to manage senior internal and external stakeholders.
• High level of proficiency in Excel for analysis.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of all areas of financial accounting for the regional business.
• Prepare and oversee all VAT returns on a quarterly basis.
• Manage areas of transactional accounting, such as accounts payable and receivable.
• Support collections and any working capital management.
• Ensure cashflow and work-in-progress reports are completed for reporting purposes.

Skills

Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or CPA)

Operational finance and accounting experience

Proficient in Excel

Experience with accounting systems and ERP platforms

Understanding of tax and regulatory matters
