Qualifications

• Previous experience working as Barista preferred.
• Knowledge of different types of coffee beans and brewing techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling.
• Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee-based drinks (espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc.) according to customer orders
• Ensure quality control by properly grinding, measuring and brewing coffee
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders and answering questions about menu items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash register records
• Follow health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages
• Stay up-to-date with current trends in the coffee industry
