Qualifications

• Previous work experience (1+ yrs) as a Barista or in a coffee shop or food bar.
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment.
• Knowledge of sanitation policies.
• Flexibility to work multiple shifts.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to assess customers' preferences.

Responsibilities

• Describe food selections to customers and answer questions about ingredients.
• Take orders and communicate options (coffee blends, dairy, sugar ratios) with accuracy.
• Serve coffee and ready-to-eat items.
• Receive and process payments (cash and card).
• Maintain a tidy work area and stock mugs/plates.
• Check that brewing equipment operates correctly and report maintenance needs.
• Comply with health and safety guidelines.
• Relay customer feedback to managers and assist with new menu items.
