Abroad Work is seeking an experienced Accountant to join the team in Dubai, UAE. The role requires at least two years of accounting experience, with responsibilities including financial reporting, ledger maintenance, and monthly/quarterly closings.

Responsibilities also include forecasting for insights into financial performance, balance reconciliation, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The candidate should be organized, self-starting, and able to contribute cost-saving ideas and process

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.

Responsibilities

• Examine financial records and prepare financial reports and statements.
• Maintain general ledgers and prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly closings.
• Analyze financial documents for accuracy and completeness of data.
• Develop forecasting models to provide insights into financial performance.
• Balance accounts and reconcile general ledger records.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
