Job summary

FounderX is seeking an Accountant in Dubai to manage daily financial operations, ensure UAE regulatory compliance, and join immediately. The role requires 2+ years of accounting experience, VAT filing expertise, and proficiency with Zoho Books or similar software.

The position is full-time in Dubai with immediate joining, responsible for AR/AP management, bank reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting to support decision making.

Qualifications

• 2+ years accounting experience required.
• UAE VAT filing and FTA compliance knowledge.
• AR/AP management and reconciliations experience.
• Hands-on with Zoho Books or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including recording transactions and ledgers.
• Handle Accounts Receivable: invoicing, payments tracking, follow-ups.
• Handle Accounts Payable: supplier invoices, payments, vendor settlements.
• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns and maintain VAT records for audits.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare financial reports (P&L, expense, cash flow) for management.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and compliance with UAE regulations.
