Role Overview

FounderX is hiring a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant to manage its day-to-day financial operations and ensure full compliance with UAE regulations. If you’re responsible, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and available to join immediately, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and ensuring all entries are accurate and up to date.
• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) by preparing invoices, tracking client payments, following up on outstanding amounts, and maintaining proper payment records.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) by processing supplier invoices, verifying expenses, preparing payments, and ensuring timely vendor settlements.
• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns, ensuring proper documentation, compliance with FTA regulations, and maintaining VAT records for audit purposes.
• Perform bank reconciliations regularly to ensure all transactions match bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare financial reports such as profit & loss statements, expense reports, and cash flow summaries to support management decision-making.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and UAE financial regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education & Experience: Not specified in source posting; 2 years of accounting experience required, with prior accounting experience in Dubai a plus.
