Job summary

GCG Engineering Services in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced heavy vehicle driver to support ADNOC project locations. You will operate assigned heavy vehicles, transport goods safely, and perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections.

The role requires a UAE driving license, 2–5 years of UAE/GCC driving experience, solid knowledge of local roads and site operations, and the ability to work long hours in a physically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
• 2–5 years of heavy vehicle driving experience (UAE/GCC preferred).
• Good knowledge of UAE roads, industrial areas, and site operations.
• Ability to handle long hours and physically demanding work.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy vehicles such as assigned.
• Transport goods/materials safely to project sites, warehouses, or client locations.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure compliance with UAE traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Maintain logbooks, delivery records, and trip reports accurately.
• Load and unload cargo when required, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or delays immediately to the supervisor.
• Ensure timely delivery while following approved routes and schedules.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
• Follow all HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) procedures on site and on road.
