Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of UAE streets, neighbourhoods, and road systems.
• Ability to read maps and utilize navigation tools effectively.
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry packages during loading and unloading.
• Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality.
• Basic English literacy – able to read delivery instructions and communicate when needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers.
• Safely load, transport, and unload goods, ensuring packages are not damaged.
• Use navigation systems (Google Maps, GIS, etc.) to plan and optimize delivery routes according to time windows, package type, and delivery priorities.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in English when interacting with customers and team members.
• Follow company protocols for delivery and package handling.
• Maintain delivery logs and submit required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Support team efficiency by assisting other drivers or covering additional routes or shifts, as directed by supervisors.
• Follow instructions and tasks assigned by supervisors within working hours.
• Ensure vehicle is kept clean and in good working condition.
• Report any vehicle issues immediately to the fleet team to prevent further damage or breakdown.
