JOB OVERVIEW

The Driver is responsible to provide transportation services in a safe and timely manner. Driver responsibility includes arranging timely cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle, planning each route based on road and traffic conditions and managing payments.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Navigation & Route Planning

• Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip.
• Utilize reliable navigation tools and systems to determine the most efficient travel routes.
• Stay updated on local traffic regulations and road conditions to anticipate delays or disruptions and appropriately adjust routes.
• Maintain knowledge of local routes and geography to support efficient transportation planning.

Transportation Support

• Pick up and drop off documents on time as per requests.
• Effectively communicate travel schedules and relevant updates with management and employees.
• Coordinate closely with the administrative team regarding transportation requirements and scheduling.
• Provide support with staff pick-up and drop-off arrangements as and when required.
• Support office operations by running errands, delivering documents, and collecting supplies when required.

Vehicle Management

• Accountable for the upkeep and maintenance of the company vehicle(s) assigned.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe and in proper operating condition.
• Arrange routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs as required.
• Maintain the vehicle in a clean and organized condition at all times.
• Ensure car seats are clean and comfortable for all passengers.
• Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues.
• Book car wash and detailing services to maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of the car.

Reporting & Safety Compliance

• Report any accidents, traffic violations, damages, or incidents immediately to the appropriate parties.
• Ensure Time In and Time Out is reported to the line manager.
• Maintain a registered logbook of daily trips and tasks.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations while driving.
• Ensure all passengers follow safety protocols, including the use of seatbelts. General Accountabilities
• Uphold company values throughout business practices and utilise sound judgment in decision making.
• Any other additional duties as may be required by management based on needs of the business.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Valid UAE driver's license
