Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience driving a 3-ton pickup for 2–3 years.
  • Manual driving license required.
  • Presentable and hygienic; UAE dress code compliance.

  • Submit trip sheets and service reports on time.
  • Multitasking; self-motivated; adaptable team player.
  • Excellent navigation skills and use of navigation apps to locate delivery locations.
  • Time management and organization to keep deliveries on schedule.

Responsibilities

  • From time to time pick up and drop off employees at various sites and camps as per the company’s transportation requirements.
  • Local purchases, material collections, etc., from various suppliers.
  • Collect the original invoice, delivery note, etc., on time from suppliers and clients.
  • Collect the samples from various suppliers or clients and delivery.
  • Safe loading and unloading of raw materials, semi-finished or finished materials.
  • Stay at the time of loading and unloading to ensure materials are loaded/unloaded safely; if any damage is caused the driver is only responsible.
  • Maintain the vehicle and interiors neat and clean.
  • Ensure timely vehicle services and maintenance.
  • Prepare and submit the daily trip sheet details.
  • Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
  • Submit the weekly report, including service, maintenance, traffic fines, accidents, etc.
  • Work with the admin department for timely renewals of the vehicle documents (e.g., Mulkia insurance).
  • Keep mileage records and repair records up to date.
  • Ensure health and safety measures.
  • Ensure that the vehicles are working as per the RTA rules.
  • Follow the RTA rules and regulations while driving; traffic fines and violations are the driver’s responsibility.
