Job Overview

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Driver (Manual Transmission) to safely transport personnel, materials, and equipment to and from project sites and company locations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate manual transmission vehicles to transport personnel, materials and equipment
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean, fueled and in good working condition
• Ensure timely collection and delivery of materials and documents
• Load and unload materials safely when required
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies
• Maintain daily trip logs, fuel records and vehicle maintenance records
• Plan efficient routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption
• Immediately report accidents, traffic violations or vehicle breakdowns to the supervisor
• Assist with other company duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

• Experience driving manual (normal gear) vehicles
• Valid driving license for manual (normal gear) vehicles
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience
• Experience driving pickups, vans, or light commercial vehicles is preferred
• Experience working with a construction company is an advantage
• Familiarity with transporting construction materials and equipment
• Good knowledge of local roads, traffic regulations, and safe driving practices
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to safety
• Physically fit and willing to assist with loading and unloading materials when required
• Ability to maintain accurate trip and vehicle records
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work flexible hours
