Job summary

Empower Equipment Rental & Trading LLC seeks a skilled Boom Loader Operator to safely operate heavy equipment for excavation, grading, loading, and site preparation tasks. You will conduct pre-start inspections, follow plans, and work with site teams to ensure efficient, safe operations at our Dubai project sites.

Required is proven experience with Boom Loaders or similar equipment, a valid operator license, and a solid understanding of site safety practices.

Qualifications

• Valid Heavy Equipment Operator License or Certification as required by local regulations.
• Proven experience operating a Boom Loader or similar heavy equipment.
• Good understanding of excavation, grading, material handling and site safety procedures.
• Ability to perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
• Physically fit and able to work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Experience on road, infrastructure, civil construction, or earthworks projects.
• Knowledge of GPS and machine control systems is an advantage.
• Valid First Aid Certification is preferred.
• Clean driving record and experience operating additional heavy equipment is beneficial.
• Familiarity with major equipment brands such as Caterpillar (CAT), Komatsu, Volvo, JCB, or similar machinery is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Boom Loader safely and efficiently according to project requirements.
• Perform excavation, trenching, backfilling, grading, and material loading operations.
• Load, transport, and stockpile materials such as soil, sand, gravel, and construction materials.
• Assist with site preparation, clearing, leveling, and general earthworks activities.
• Conduct daily pre-start inspections and perform routine maintenance checks on the equipment.
• Report equipment faults, damage, or maintenance requirements promptly to the supervisor.
• Read and follow site plans, drawings, work instructions, and supervisor directions.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, site regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Work closely with site supervisors, engineers, and ground personnel to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain the boom loader in a clean, safe, and serviceable condition.
• Identify and avoid underground utilities, overhead hazards, and other site risks during operations.
• Complete daily equipment inspection checklists, logbooks, and work activity reports as required.
