Job summary

SGS in Dubai seeks a Full-time Drilling Rig Operator with on-site soil exploration experience. You will sample from boreholes, identify soil types, and maintain logs in compliance with BS 5930. Implement QMS procedures and follow safety rules to ensure quality and safety on every shift.

The role requires hands-on drilling with percussion/rotary rigs, proper documentation, and a UAE driving license. On-site work is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Experience operating drilling rigs for soil exploration on site.
• Ability to sample on-site from boreholes following standards.
• Competence in maintaining records and logs.
• Knowledge of QMS procedures and safety regulations.
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform soil exploration using percussion and rotary boreholes on site.
• Collect samples from boreholes in accordance with BS 5930.
• Identify soil types on site and document findings.
• Implement and follow QMS procedures as required.
• Maintain worksheets and drillers logs, ensuring accuracy.
• Adhere to safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

• Responsible for sampling on site fromborehole as perBS 5930
• Carry out sample identification of soil types on site.
• ImplementQMS as per procedure requirements.
• Keep safe and clean environment by adopting safety procedures and environment control measures.
• Maintainworksheets and drillers log.

Qualifications :

• School Certificate/ HSSC.
• Min. 3 years experience as a Drilling Rig Operator in ISO 17025:2017 Accredited Labs UAE.
• Valid UAE Driving License.
