Job summary

NAFFCO in Dubai seeks a capable Draughtsman to support water and wastewater treatment projects with technical drafting and design expertise using CAD tools.

You will prepare piping and equipment layouts, interpret PFDs and P&IDs, assist engineers with process system designs, and produce fabrication-ready drawings and BOQ data.

Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or SolidWorks is a plus; attention to detail and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Engineering Draughting or related technical discipline.
• Proficiency in CAD/drawing production for process industries; water/wastewater sector experience advantageous.
• Ability to interpret technical information and produce clear compliant documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare precise technical drawings for water and wastewater treatment process plants piping and equipment layout using AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Interpret PFDs and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) to produce fabrication- and construction-ready documents.
• Assist engineers in developing designs for process systems, tanks, skids, filtration units and odour control solutions.
• Prepare as-built proposals and construction drawings in accordance with client, project and regulatory requirements.
• Compile equipment lists, material specifications and technical documentation for project submissions and tenders.
• Prepare detailed mechanical, electrical and instrumentation drawings as required; prepare fabrication and installation drawings for tanks, skids, pipe supports and equipment assemblies.
• Assist in BOQ preparation by extracting quantities and details from drawings.

Opportunity for Technical Drawing & Design Water & Wastewater Treatment

• Prepare precise and accurate technical drawings for water and wastewater treatment process plants piping and equipment layout using AutoCAD or similar design software.

• Knowledge of relevant CAD BIM and design software tools Revit or SolidWorks is an added advantage.
