Job summary

ELE Interior Design is seeking a skilled Draftsman to produce precise technical drawings and plans, working closely with designers and architects to bring creative visions to life on high-end interiors.

You will develop floor plans, elevations, and joinery details while ensuring compliance with building codes and project standards, maintaining document control and supporting a collaborative design process.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• 2–3 years minimum experience as a draftsman in interior design or architectural industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and other 3D modeling/rendering tools.
• Strong understanding of interior design principles, space planning, and building codes.
• Ability to produce highly accurate technical drawings with attention to detail.
• Proven leadership skills to mentor junior staff and manage workloads.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed technical drawings and layouts based on design concepts and client requirements.
• Collaborate with interior designers to translate concepts into schematic and construction drawings.
• Produce floor plans, elevations, sections, furniture layouts, and joinery details.
• Create and revise shop drawings including ceiling plans, lighting layouts, finishes, and FF&E specifications.
• Ensure drawings meet project specifications and relevant building codes.

As a Draftsman , you will be responsible for producing precise technical drawingsand plans that bring our creative visions to life. You will work closely withour designers and architects to ensure every detail is accurately documentedand ready for execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed technical drawings andlayouts based on design concepts and client requirements.
• Collaborate with interior designers totranslate conceptual ideas into schematic and construction drawings.
• Produce floor plans, elevations, sections,furniture layouts, and intricate joinery details.
• Create and revise shop drawings includingceiling plans, lighting layouts, finishes, and FF&E specifications.
• Ensure all drawings meet projectspecifications, industry standards, and comply with relevant buildingcodes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and versioncontrol of all drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to the upkeep of drawing libraries,design templates, and standard blocks.
  

Requirements
