- The Draftsman – Infrastructure is responsible for preparing detailed drawings, layouts, and documentation for infrastructure projects including roads, drainage, utilities, and site development. The role involves translating engineers' and designers' concepts into technical drawings and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
- Prepare accurate and detailed drawings for infrastructure projects (roads, stormwater, sewerage, water supply, etc.) using AutoCAD or similar software.
- Collaborate with engineers to interpret design concepts and incorporate technical details into construction drawings.
- Prepare cross-sections, profiles, utility layouts, and as-built drawings as required.
- Maintain drawing standards and ensure compliance with relevant codes, guidelines, and project requirements.
- Update and revise drawings based on design changes, client comments, or site conditions.
- Organize and maintain a structured drawing archive and ensure proper document control.
- Coordinate with other disciplines (e.g., architecture, structural, MEP) to ensure seamless integration of designs.
- Conduct basic quantity take-offs and assist in preparing BOQs where needed.
- Ensure timely delivery of drawing packages to support project milestones.
